01About the course
What you will learn in Android App Development
Android is the mobile operating system from Google that runs on most smartphones sold in India. Android apps are built in Android Studio, Google's official development tool, and Kotlin is the language Google recommends for new Android projects. Kotlin is concise, safer than older Java code against null errors, and works fully with existing Java libraries. With these tools you design screens, write app logic and test on phones or emulators.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Android App Development taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer skills are required; Kotlin is taught from the basics. Earlier exposure to any programming language, such as C or Java, makes the first few sessions easier.
