You will learn to
- Set up Civil 3D templates, object styles and label styles for a project
- Build corridors with assemblies, superelevation, junctions and roundabouts, and produce quantity reports
- Design horizontal alignments and vertical profiles following IRC design criteria
Project to build: Land development layout. Build a ground surface from survey points, grade the site and divide it into parcels with right of way, labels and area tables.
Tools covered: Volume surfaces and earthwork reports, Alignments and profiles with IRC design criteria, LiDAR point clouds and DEM surfaces, Intersections and roundabouts, Toolspace and object/label styles.
Professional level: Learners who want the full 80-hour path, adding profile design, assemblies, roundabouts, pipe networks and two complete projects.
Revit (Architecture, Structure & MEP) 40–80 h
You will learn to
- Prepare sheets, title blocks and revisions and export to CAD, IFC and DWF
- Set up Revit projects with templates, units, levels and grids
- Manage views, view templates, visibility settings and filters
Project to build: Office HVAC layout. Run a heating and cooling load analysis, place AHUs and VAV boxes and route ducts with sizing checks.
