01About the course

What you will learn in Revit

Autodesk Revit is Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. Instead of drawing separate lines for each plan and section, you build a 3D model from real building elements – walls, floors, roofs, columns, beams, ducts, pipes and fixtures. Plans, elevations, sections, schedules and sheets are all views of that one model, so a change made in one place updates everywhere. Revit has tools for architecture, structure and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing).

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Revit taught live by a trainer.

Basic computer use is needed. Knowledge of building drawings helps for Architecture and Structure; basic HVAC, electrical or plumbing knowledge helps for MEP. AutoCAD experience is useful but not required.

Can I learn Revit online from outside India?

Yes. Revit is taught live online by a trainer, with the same syllabus, hours and project as the classroom batch. Batches are planned around your time zone, subject to trainer availability.

How many hours is the Revit course?

Revit is offered at 5 levels (40–80 h): Essential in Revit Architecture – 40 hours; Essential in Revit MEP – 40 hours; Essential in Revit Structure – 40 hours; Proficient in Revit Architecture – 80 hours; Proficient in Revit MEP – 80 hours.

Do I need to buy the software?

We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.

Can I attend some classes in person in India?

Yes. Hybrid and fully offline options are available at our Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet centres on dates agreed in advance, depending on trainer and lab availability.
