01About the course
What you will learn in AutoCAD
AutoCAD is computer-aided design and drafting software from Autodesk. It replaces the drawing board: you draw lines, arcs, circles and polylines with exact coordinates, then add dimensions, text, hatching and title blocks to make drawings ready for print or PDF. Layers, blocks, attributes and external references keep large drawings organised, and it also includes 3D solid and surface modelling tools and AutoLISP for automating repeated tasks.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want AutoCAD taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer use is enough to start. Knowledge of engineering drawing and projections helps, but the course begins with those fundamentals.

How many hours is the AutoCAD course?

Do I need to buy the software?
We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.
Can I attend some classes in person in India?
