Who we are and what this policy covers

CareerKraft runs training centres in Katpadi, Vellore and Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, as an authorised training partner of CADD Centre, Livewire and Synergy School of Business Skills (SynergySBS). For the personal data described here, CareerKraft acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

This policy covers our website careerkraft.in, enquiries you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email, and the data we handle when you enrol and study at any of our centres. It should be read with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, which also apply to us.

How the website handles your data

Our website does not run its own database of visitors. When you fill in an enquiry, callback or demo form, the site does not store your answers on a server. Instead, it opens WhatsApp (or your phone dialler) with a pre-filled message addressed to the centre you chose. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself.

Once you send that message, your name, number and message reach the chosen centre through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. From that point we handle the enquiry as described in this policy.

• Local storage in your browser – The site saves a few small settings in your own browser, such as your chosen centre and whether you closed a pop-up. These stay on your device and are not sent to us. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• Embedded Google Maps – Centre pages show Google Maps. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
• Links to other services – Links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Play and partner student portals take you to services run by others, whose own privacy policies apply.

Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and deliver your training.

• Contact details – Name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email if you share it.
• Enquiry details – Course, level, mode, centre and preferred timings.
• Admission details – Educational background, identity proof and photograph needed for enrolment and certification.
• Learning records – Attendance, project submissions, assessment results and fee records.

Why we use it

We use your data to reply to your enquiry, counsel you on courses, complete admission, schedule batches, deliver classes, assess projects, arrange certificates and learning-tool access through the partner brand for your course, collect fees and issue receipts, and provide placement support if you ask for it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to your enquiry or training. We may send you course or batch updates on WhatsApp; you can ask us to stop at any time.

Consent and children's data

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us or enrol, and for other lawful purposes permitted by the DPDP Act, such as meeting legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@careerkraft.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, but we may not be able to continue some services, such as issuing a certificate.

For anyone under 18, including learners in our kids programmes, we collect and use personal data only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. We do not track children's behaviour or use their data for targeted advertising. Parents may contact us to review, correct or erase their child's data.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only where it is needed: with the partner brand for your course (CADD Centre, Livewire or SynergySBS) for registration, learning portals, assessment and certificates; with employers, only with your agreement, as part of placement support; with service providers such as payment or messaging services, only to the extent needed; and with government authorities or courts where the law requires it.

Partner brands and third-party services process data under their own policies. We ask them to keep it secure and use it only for the stated purpose.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry data only for as long as it is useful to respond to you and follow up on your enquiry. We keep admission, fee and certificate records for as long as needed to support you as a student and alumnus and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable security practices, such as limiting who can access student records and keeping devices protected. No method is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will act on it and inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the following rights. To use them, email info@careerkraft.in.

• Access – Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
• Correction and erasure – Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data, subject to legal retention needs.
• Grievance redressal – Raise a complaint about how your data has been handled and get a response.
• Nomination – Nominate a person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

Grievance contact

For any privacy question, request or complaint, email info@careerkraft.in with the subject line 'Privacy'. Please include your name, the centre you contacted or study at, and details of your request. We will acknowledge it and respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the time required by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The latest version, with its last updated date, will always be on this page.
