The Katpadi centre and who it serves
Katpadi sits at the northern edge of Vellore on the Chennai–Bengaluru corridor, centred on Katpadi Junction, one of the main railway junctions of northern Tamil Nadu. The centre is in Bharathi Nagar, near Aascars Cinemas, on the third floor of OM Towers.
Because the junction brings in trains from Chennai, Bengaluru and Tirupati, students from other towns often reach this centre by rail first and finish the journey by auto or bus. The colleges around Katpadi and the university campus nearby mean many evening and weekend batches here are built around undergraduate timetables.
If you live on the Katpadi side of the Palar, in Gandhi Nagar, Kangeyanallur, Brahmapuram or Latheri, this is usually the closest of the three centres; Gudiyatham and Thiruvalam learners also choose it for the straight road run.
Typical first courses here lean toward programming, data, testing and CAD, because so many learners arrive from the surrounding colleges and want a skill to show by final year.
