Architecture, structural and MEP consultancies
BIM authoring, coordination and drawing production.
UK engineering, construction, rail and IT teams hire for BIM, CAD and data skills. Learn live from India, four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of you.
01the United Kingdom
Building information modelling has been a requirement on centrally procured UK public projects for several years, so architecture, structural and MEP consultancies look for Revit, Navisworks and clash-detection skills. Rail, utilities and the NHS add engineering and data roles, and the technology sector hires across London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Many learners here are career-changers or migrants with overseas qualifications who want UK-relevant software skills. India is four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of UK time, so a late-afternoon Indian class lands in the late morning or lunchtime locally, which suits weekend batches best.

06Careers
A BIM modeller builds a detailed digital model of a building, with walls, floors, structure and services all carrying real information such as sizes, materials and quantities.
Day to day: produce drawings, schedules and quantities directly from the model; create architectural and structural models in Revit from drawings.
Skills employers ask for: Navisworks clash detection and 4D simulation; Coordination meetings and issue tracking; Revit Architecture and Structure modelling.
Where careers start: BIM Modeller.
An MEP / BIM engineer models the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services of a building in 3D and makes sure they all fit together.
Day to day: update models as design changes and keep families and standards organised; coordinate with architects, structural and MEP teams to resolve clashes.
Skills employers ask for: BIM standards and levels of development (LOD); Reading architectural and structural drawings; Coordination and communication across disciplines.
Where careers start: BIM Modeller (MEP).
A structural design engineer makes sure buildings, bridges, towers and industrial structures stand safely under their own weight, people, wind and earthquakes.
Day to day: model buildings and structures in ETABS or STAAD.Pro; study architectural drawings and plan the structural system.
Skills employers ask for: STAAD.Pro modelling and design; ETABS modelling for multi-storey buildings; Structural analysis and mechanics fundamentals.
Where careers start: Graduate / Trainee Engineer.

Ask on WhatsAppYes. Public-sector projects have required BIM processes for years, and consultancies list Revit and Navisworks regularly.
Weekend batches are the usual choice; a counsellor will share the current timings.
Building information modelling has been a requirement on centrally procured UK public projects for several years, so architecture, structural and MEP consultanc A sensible order is Revit (Architecture, Structure & MEP) first, then Navisworks & 5D BIM once you are comfortable.
AutoCAD is drafting and design software from Autodesk. It is used to draw building plans, site layouts, machine part drawings, electrical layouts and basic 3D models, and to print them to scale.
Choose Essential for solid 2D drafting skills. Choose Proficient if you also want dynamic blocks, parametric constraints, xrefs, express tools, 3D modelling and AutoLISP.
You can. Every course is available as a live online class, and learners in the United Kingdom who want lab time can add an occasional visit to one of the centres in Tamil Nadu.
