01About the course
What you will learn in Software Testing
Selenium is a free, open-source tool for automating web browsers. Testers use Selenium WebDriver to write scripts that open a browser, find elements on a page, type, click and check results – the same steps a manual tester would do, but repeatable in seconds. In this course you write those scripts in Python using PyCharm, and also use Robot Framework, a keyword-driven framework that works on top of Selenium. Almost every company that builds web applications needs testing before each release.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Software Testing taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer use and familiarity with browsing websites is enough. The course starts with an introduction to Python, so no prior programming is required, though some coding exposure helps.
