01About the course

What you will learn in BIM 360

BIM 360 is Autodesk's cloud platform for construction projects, now part of Autodesk Construction Cloud. Project teams use it to share models and drawings, coordinate design disciplines and track issues from one place. Much of the hands-on coordination work – combining architectural, structural and MEP models, finding clashes and linking the model to the schedule and quantities – is done in Autodesk Navisworks, which this course is built around.

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want BIM 360 taught live by a trainer.

Basic computer use is needed. Knowing how to read building drawings helps, and prior exposure to Revit or AutoCAD will make the model review sessions easier.

05Projects

Practice projects

Federated building model

Combine architectural, structural and MEP models of a building into one reviewable file.

Clash report for a floor

Run clash tests between ducts, pipes and beams, then group and report the issues.

4D construction sequence

Link a simple schedule to the model in Timeliner and simulate the build.

Quantity take-off

Take off quantities of walls, slabs and columns from the model for an estimate.
