01About the course
What you will learn in Primavera
Primavera P6 is project planning and scheduling software from Oracle. Planners use it to break a project into a Work Breakdown Structure, create activities, link them with relationships, and calculate the critical path. They then assign roles, resources and costs, save baselines and update progress to see whether the project is ahead or behind. P6 comes as a desktop client and as P6 Web (EPPM) for enterprise-wide use.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Primavera taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer use is needed. An engineering or project background helps you relate to the examples, but the Foundation topics start from the basics of projects and scheduling.
