01About the course
What you will learn in MS Project
Microsoft Project (MSP) is scheduling software from Microsoft. You list a project's tasks, organise them into a work breakdown structure, link them with dependencies and let the software work out the dates and the critical path. You then assign people, equipment and materials, level overloaded resources, save a baseline and track actual progress against it, with Gantt charts and reports to show the status.

Basic computer and Excel use is enough. Some experience of working on a project, site or team helps you relate to the scheduling examples.
