01About the course

What you will learn in PLC & SCADA

A PLC (programmable logic controller) is a rugged industrial computer that reads sensors and switches and turns motors, valves and lamps on or off according to a program. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) software sits above the PLCs and shows the process on screen, with live values, alarms, trends and recipes. In this course you write ladder logic and function block programs, wire relay panels, and build SCADA screens in tools such as Siemens WinCC, Wonderware InTouch and Omron CX-Supervisor.

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want PLC & SCADA taught live by a trainer.

Basic computer use and a basic idea of electrical circuits (switches, relays, contactors) are enough. An electrical, electronics or instrumentation background makes the course easier.
