01About the course

What you will learn in Microcontroller & Embedded C

A microcontroller is a small computer on a single chip that controls a device – a washing machine, a meter, a car module or a medical monitor. Embedded C is the language used to program it. You set registers, read sensors, drive displays and motors, and make the chip talk to other chips and modules. These courses teach four popular families: the 8051, PIC (PIC16F877A and PIC18F4550), AVR ATmega16 and the ARM7-based LPC2148.

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Microcontroller & Embedded C taught live by a trainer.

Basic digital electronics knowledge helps. The Course on Microcontroller introduces C from the start; for the Advanced Microcontroller course, some C programming and basic microcontroller exposure is recommended.
