01About the course
What you will learn in Power BI
Power BI is Microsoft's business intelligence tool. You use Power BI Desktop to pull data from Excel, CSV files, databases and online sources, clean it with Power Query, link tables into a data model and write DAX measures. The result is an interactive report with charts, maps, cards and slicers. Reports are then published to the Power BI Service, where colleagues can view, filter and share them from a browser or phone.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Power BI taught live by a trainer.
Comfort with a computer and basic Excel (entering data, simple formulas) is enough. No programming background is needed; DAX and M are taught from the basics.

How many hours is the Power BI course?
Power BI is offered at 3 levels (30–60 h): Certificate in Power BI – 30 hours; Course on Data Analytics using Power BI – 60 hours; Advanced Certificate in Data Analysis Microsoft Excel and Power BI – 54 hours.
Do I need to buy the software?
We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.
Can I attend some classes in person in India?
Yes. Hybrid and fully offline options are available at our Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet centres on dates agreed in advance, depending on trainer and lab availability.
