Sri City township plants
Quality, production and automation staff.
Sri City’s manufacturing township and Tirupati’s electronics and battery plants lie just across the Tamil Nadu border from Vellore.
01Tirupati & Sri City
Sri City is a multi-sector industrial township on the Andhra–Tamil Nadu border that hosts auto, electronics, food and appliance plants, while Tirupati and the Renigunta–Karakambadi belt add battery, electronics and component makers. Together they form one of the region’s fastest-growing job pools.
Katpadi Junction is on the Tirupati rail line, so hybrid learners from the Tirupati side can reach our Katpadi centre without changing trains much.

Tools covered: LabVIEW (introduction), Driving cycle energy analysis, Model-based design, BMS concepts (cell balancing, thermal management), Powertrain and gear-train modelling.
Foundation level: Beginners and engineers from any related branch who want a complete overview of EV systems, sensors and simulation.
You will learn to
Project to build: Shaft and hole fit selection. Pick suitable fits for a bearing seat and a sliding shaft using hole- and shaft-basis tables.
Tools covered: Hole-basis and shaft-basis systems, Feature control frames, Form, orientation, location, profile and runout symbols, Bonus tolerance calculation, MMC, LMC and virtual condition.
Foundation level: Engineers, designers and quality staff who want a compact 16-hour course to read and apply GD&T on drawings.
05Careers
A mechanical design engineer turns a product idea into accurate 3D models, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Day to day: create 3D part models and assemblies from sketches, specifications or customer inputs; maintain design revisions and release files through the company's PDM/PLM system.
Skills employers ask for: 3D part and assembly modelling in SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo or NX; Engineering materials and manufacturing processes; Design for manufacture and assembly (DFM/DFA).
Where careers start: Trainee / CAD Draughtsman.
An electrical design engineer prepares the drawings and documents that show how electrical systems are built and wired.
Day to day: design wiring harness layouts with connectors and wire specifications; prepare single-line diagrams and panel general-arrangement drawings.
Skills employers ask for: AutoCAD Electrical schematics and reports; Reading PLC I/O and control drawings; Single-line diagrams and panel layouts.
Where careers start: Electrical Draughtsman / Trainee.
A PLC / automation engineer designs, programs and maintains the control systems that run machines and production lines.
Day to day: troubleshoot faults and improve machine uptime; commission systems on site and train operators.
Skills employers ask for: SCADA and HMI development; Industrial communication (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP basics); PLC programming (ladder logic, timers, counters).
Where careers start: Trainee / Service Engineer.
