01About the course
What you will learn in Edge AI
Edge AI means running artificial intelligence models directly on a device – a camera, a sensor board, a phone or a small computer such as a Raspberry Pi or an NVIDIA Jetson – instead of sending all data to a cloud server. The device makes its decision on the spot, for example spotting a defect, counting people or recognising a gesture. This needs models that are small and fast enough for limited memory and power, plus the skill to set up and test the hardware.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Edge AI taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer skills are needed; some programming experience helps. Start with the Python Statistics and Edge AI Foundations course if you are new to Python.

How many hours is the Edge AI course?
Edge AI is offered at 4 levels (10–25 h): Course on Real-Time Edge AI Application – 10 hours; Course on Edge Deployment Model optimization and Device Setup – 20 hours; Course on Computer Vision and Deep Learning for Edge Applications – 25 hours; Course on Python Statistics and Edge AI Foundations – 25 hours.
Do I need to buy the software?
We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.
Can I attend some classes in person in India?
Yes. Hybrid and fully offline options are available at our Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet centres on dates agreed in advance, depending on trainer and lab availability.
