What you will learn in Linux Administration & Internals
Linux is a free, open-source operating system that runs most of the world's web servers, cloud platforms and supercomputers, as well as Android phones, routers, cars and many embedded devices. Distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) are standard in companies. This page brings together five Linux programmes: fundamentals and shell scripting, system administration, server administration, kernel internals and device driver development. Employers ask for Linux in two main areas.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Linux Administration & Internals taught live by a trainer.
For the fundamentals and admin levels, basic computer use is enough. The server admin level assumes you already know Linux system administration. The kernel internals and device driver levels need good C programming and some knowledge of operating systems or microcontrollers.
