01About the course
What you will learn in MicroStation
MicroStation is computer-aided design software from Bentley Systems, used to create 2D drawings and 3D models for infrastructure. It works with DGN files and offers precise drafting aids such as AccuDraw and AccuSnap, reusable cells, level-based organisation, detailing callouts, annotation and dimensioning. It also opens and edits DWG files, so it fits into mixed-software projects. Bentley's road, rail, plant and bridge products are built on the MicroStation platform.

Basic computer skills are enough. Knowledge of engineering drawing or AutoCAD helps you pick up drafting concepts faster.

Do I need to buy the software?
We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.
Can I attend some classes in person in India?
Yes. Hybrid and fully offline options are available at our Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet centres on dates agreed in advance, depending on trainer and lab availability.
