01About the course
What you will learn in AR/VR for Building Design
Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) let people experience a building design in three dimensions instead of looking at flat drawings. In VR, a client wears a headset and walks through rooms at true scale. In AR, a phone or tablet places the model over a real site or table. This 20-hour course shows how to take a 3D model from software such as Revit or SketchUp and turn it into these immersive experiences.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want AR/VR for Building Design taught live by a trainer.
Comfortable computer use is needed. Basic knowledge of a 3D modelling tool such as Revit, SketchUp or 3ds Max is strongly recommended, as the course works from an existing building model.
