01About the course
What you will learn in Lumion
Lumion is real-time 3D rendering software made by Act-3D in the Netherlands. Architects and designers import models from SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and similar tools, then add materials, landscape, trees, people, lighting and weather. Because Lumion renders in real time, you can see the finished look while you work and produce still images, 360° panoramas and walkthrough videos much faster than with traditional offline renderers.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Lumion taught live by a trainer.
Basic computer skills are needed. Knowing a 3D modelling tool such as SketchUp or Revit helps, because Lumion works with models created elsewhere. A computer with a good graphics card is needed for smooth work.

How many hours is the Lumion course?
Lumion is offered at 1 level (40 h): Essential in Lumion – 40 hours.
Do I need to buy the software?
We teach; we do not supply software. Use your own licence or an educational or trial licence where the maker offers one. Our Software & Licensing Policy explains the rules.
Can I attend some classes in person in India?
Yes. Hybrid and fully offline options are available at our Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet centres on dates agreed in advance, depending on trainer and lab availability.
