01About the course

What you will learn in Product Design Concepts

Product design concepts are the engineering fundamentals a mechanical designer uses before and alongside CAD software. They cover how to read and prepare engineering drawings, how to show sizes and tolerances with GD&T, how to choose materials, how product data is managed in PLM systems, and how a design is checked before it goes to production. This course teaches those ideas without tying them to one software package.

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Product Design Concepts taught live by a trainer.

A mechanical engineering background at diploma or degree level is helpful. No CAD software knowledge is required for this course.
