01About the course
What you will learn in MEP Design Concepts
MEP stands for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing – the building services that make a structure usable. This course covers three of the most in-demand service areas: HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), fire protection with sprinkler systems, and plumbing. You learn the design ideas behind each system, how basic sizing is done and how the systems appear on building drawings. Every hospital, mall, office, hotel, factory and apartment block needs these services designed and drawn before construction.
This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want MEP Design Concepts taught live by a trainer.
An engineering or diploma background (mechanical, civil or electrical) is helpful, along with basic maths. Reading building plans makes the course easier to follow.
