What you will learn in Siemens NX

Siemens NX, earlier known as Unigraphics, is an integrated CAD/CAM/CAE software from Siemens Digital Industries Software. In NX CAD you sketch, model solids and surfaces, design sheet-metal parts, build assemblies and create drawings. NX CAM uses the same model to generate milling, drilling and turning toolpaths, and NX Nastran (through Advanced Simulation) meshes the part and checks stress, vibration and heat.

This page is for learners outside Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet – NRIs, professionals in the Gulf and other countries, and students elsewhere in India who want Siemens NX taught live by a trainer.

Basic computer skills and the ability to read engineering drawings are needed. For NX CAM, machining knowledge helps; for NX Nastran, basic strength of materials and some CAD experience are recommended.
