Eastern Seaboard auto and component plants
Design, GD&T and quality documentation.
Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard auto plants, electronics factories and petrochemical complex hire technicians and engineers. Learn live from India, an hour and a half behind Bangkok.
01Thailand
Rayong and Chonburi host car and component plants, electronics factories line the industrial estates north of Bangkok, and the Map Ta Phut complex anchors petrochemicals. Tourism and construction fill out hiring in Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya.
Thailand is an hour and a half ahead of India, so an Indian evening class is a late-night session locally and Indian morning classes suit evening study.
Design, GD&T and quality documentation.
PCB, embedded and automation roles.
Piping, electrical and planning roles.
02Courses that fit

05Careers
A piping designer plans how pipes, valves, pumps and equipment are arranged inside refineries, chemical plants, power stations, water treatment plants and pharma units.
Day to day: study P&IDs, equipment layouts and line lists for a project; maintain clearances for access, operation and maintenance.
Skills employers ask for: Coordination with multi-discipline teams; Equipment layout and nozzle orientation basics; AutoCAD 2D piping drafting.
Where careers start: Piping Draughtsman.
A PCB design engineer converts a circuit idea into a printed circuit board that a factory can build.
Day to day: build footprints and manage component libraries; generate Gerbers, drill files and BOM and support fabrication queries.
Skills employers ask for: Design rules, stack-up and grounding basics; Electronic circuits and components; Footprint and library management.
Where careers start: PCB Layout Trainee.
An electrical design engineer prepares the drawings and documents that show how electrical systems are built and wired.
Day to day: draw control and power schematics in AutoCAD Electrical; calculate cable sizes and protection ratings.
Skills employers ask for: Single-line diagrams and panel layouts; Cable sizing and selection; Electrical fundamentals and circuit protection.
Where careers start: Electrical Draughtsman / Trainee.

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppGD&T, SolidWorks and PLC are common in supplier and plant roles.
Yes. Any stable connection works.
Rayong and Chonburi host car and component plants, electronics factories line the industrial estates north of Bangkok, and the Map Ta Phut complex anchors petrochemicals. A sensible order is GD&T first, then SolidWorks once you are comfortable.
GD&T stands for Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. It is a set of symbols and rules used on drawings to control the form, orientation, location and profile of features. This course follows the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
SolidWorks is 3D CAD software from Dassault Systèmes. It is used to design parts and assemblies, sheet metal and weldments, and to create production drawings. It is common in machine building, fabrication and product design.
You can. Every course is available as a live online class, and learners in Thailand who want lab time can add an occasional visit to one of the centres in Tamil Nadu.
