Hinjewadi and Magarpatta IT parks
Software, cloud and testing roles.
Hinjewadi’s IT park and the Chakan–Talegaon–Pimpri auto belt make Pune a rare city where software and manufacturing hire side by side.
01Pune
Hinjewadi and Magarpatta carry the software load, while Pimpri-Chinchwad, Chakan and Ranjangaon host car and two-wheeler makers, component suppliers and heavy-engineering plants. Pune’s many engineering colleges feed both streams, and automotive R&D centres add design and simulation jobs.
Because Pune’s best employers are spread across long commutes, evening online classes are often more practical than a classroom trip across the city.

| Course | Hours | Who it suits | First project |
|---|---|---|---|
| Automotive Design & DMU | 40 h | Students and engineers who want a 40-hour grounding in how vehicles are designed, from architecture and packaging to aerodynamics and EVs. | Suspension comparison |
| Ansys (Structural & Fluent CFD) | 40–80 h | Beginners who want a focused 40-hour start in Workbench covering FEA basics, meshing, static, fatigue and modal analysis. | Connecting rod modal study |
| Electric Vehicle (EV) Design | 40 h | Engineers who want to specialise in EV batteries, battery packs and battery management systems. | Electric scooter range model |
| Java | 64–160 h | Students who want a 64-hour core Java course covering OOP, Swing, collections, threads, networking and JDBC (Livewire). | Client–server chat |
07Study plan
At around seven hours a week, alongside college or work. Faster or slower is fine; finish each project before moving on.

Foundation level: Engineers who want to specialise in EV batteries, battery packs and battery management systems.
You will learn to
Project to build: Web portal with Servlets and JSP. A login, registration and data-entry site using Servlets, JSP, JavaScript validation and JDBC.
Tools covered: Git, Test-driven development with a unit test framework, IntelliJ IDEA, Servlets and JSP on Tomcat, Docker and Docker Compose.
Foundation level: Learners who already know core Java and want 80 hours of JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, EJB and Spring Boot (Livewire).
05Careers
A CAE / FEA analyst uses computer simulation to check whether a part or structure will survive the loads it faces in real life.
Day to day: clean and simplify CAD geometry and extract mid-surfaces for meshing; define materials, contacts, loads and boundary conditions for each load case.
Skills employers ask for: Technical report writing; Result interpretation and hand-calculation sanity checks; Linear static and modal analysis in ANSYS or NX Nastran.
Where careers start: CAE Trainee.
An automotive design engineer designs the parts that make up a vehicle, such as body-in-white panels, plastic interior trims, brackets, seating structures or chassis components.
Day to day: apply design rules for draft, rib, boss and flange features; model plastic trims, sheet metal panels and brackets in CATIA.
Skills employers ask for: Design for manufacturing and assembly; Digital mock-up (DMU) and packaging studies; GD&T and automotive drawing standards.
Where careers start: Design Trainee.
A CFD engineer uses computational fluid dynamics to predict how air, water, oil or gas flows through and around products.
Day to day: post-process velocity, pressure and temperature contours, streamlines and forces; extract the fluid domain from CAD and prepare clean geometry for meshing.
Skills employers ask for: Interpreting results and spotting non-physical answers; Fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals; ANSYS Fluent setup, solving and post-processing.
Where careers start: CFD Trainee.

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppAutomotive design and DMU, GD&T and CATIA are widely used there.
Yes, electric vehicle design and automotive embedded systems.
Hinjewadi and Magarpatta carry the software load, while Pimpri-Chinchwad, Chakan and Ranjangaon host car and two-wheeler makers, component suppliers and heavy-engineering plants. A sensible order is Automotive Design & DMU first, then Ansys (Structural & Fluent CFD) once you are comfortable.
We offer placement support such as resume help, mock interviews and sharing job leads. We do not guarantee a job; your skills, portfolio of analysis projects and interview performance matter most.
You can ask for a demo or a counselling session before you join. Message your chosen centre on WhatsApp and the counsellor will arrange a time that suits you.
Yes, from home. Classes are live with a trainer, recorded practice files are shared after each session, and the certificate is the same whether you learn online or in a classroom.
