What the Advanced Java internship builds on
It has a huge standard library, strong typing and automatic memory management, which make it a reliable choice for large applications. Java runs a large share of enterprise software in India: banking cores, insurance portals, telecom billing, e-commerce back ends and government systems.
Working through Java, you will learn to connect Java applications to MySQL or Oracle databases with JDBC and prepared statements, build web applications with Servlets, JSP, HTML and JavaScript and create REST APIs and database CRUD applications with Spring Boot.
You will work with Servlets and JSP on Tomcat, Java Swing and Spring Framework and Spring Boot; the Course on Advanced JAVA programme includes modules such as Web Applications and Servlets, JSP and JavaScript.
Roles to aim for include Java Full Stack Developer – works on Java back ends and web front ends together and Software Engineer Trainee – joins IT services or product teams as a Java trainee. The Essential, Proficient and Course on JAVA programmes start from basics, so computer familiarity is enough. For the Course on Advanced JAVA you should already know core Java (classes, inheritance, exceptions and collections).
