What is Navisworks & 5D BIM? In plain words.
Autodesk Navisworks is project review software for building and infrastructure projects. It combines models from Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, plant design tools and many other formats into one federated model. Teams use it to walk through the design, add comments and redlines, run clash tests between disciplines, link the model to a construction schedule with TimeLiner (4D) and measure quantities for cost estimation (5D).
Navisworks is used by BIM coordinators, MEP coordinators, planners and quantity surveyors in construction companies and BIM service firms. Clashes found on screen are far cheaper to fix than clashes found on site, and 4D and 5D simulations help clients understand schedule and cost before work begins. This is why large projects in India and many overseas projects handled from Indian BIM offices ask for Navisworks skills.

Who can join these courses?

How long is each course?
Essential in 5D BIM and Essential in Navisworks for BIM are both 40-hour courses. The counsellor will share batch timings and session length.
Which course should I choose?
Choose Essential in 5D BIM for a wider course that includes quantity take-off, costs, animation and rendering. Choose Essential in Navisworks for BIM if you want to focus on coordination, clash management and 4D sequencing.
Do I need to know Revit first?
It is recommended. Navisworks works with models created in tools like Revit, so understanding how those models are built makes coordination much easier.
Can I learn online or in hybrid mode?
Yes. Classroom, online and hybrid modes are available depending on trainer availability at your chosen centre.
Is a free demo class available?
You can request a demo session when you enquire. The centre will arrange it based on trainer availability.
Will I receive a certificate?

Do I need a laptop, and what jobs can I expect?
You can practise on the centre's systems, so a laptop is optional. Common roles are BIM coordinator, MEP coordinator and 4D/5D specialist, with freshers typically around ₹2.4–4 LPA (indicative only).
Which centre can I join and what are the timings?
You can join at Katpadi, Vellore or Ranipet. Centres are open Monday to Saturday 9:30 am–6:30 pm and Sunday 9:00 am–2:00 pm.
