Power BI Course for Tiruvannamalai Students – online, hybrid or classroom

Power BI is Microsoft's business intelligence tool. You use Power BI Desktop to pull data from Excel, CSV files, databases and online sources, clean it with Power Query, link tables into a data model and write DAX measures.

Shops, traders, hotels and service businesses around the temple town keep accounts and GST work in demand, which makes Tally, Excel and office skills very practical in Tiruvannamalai.

The temple economy keeps lodges, restaurants, shops and travel agents busy around the year, and each needs billing, GST filing and stock records. Arani’s silk traders and Cheyyar’s industrial suppliers add further accounting demand.

After Power BI, roles such as Power BI Developer, Data Analyst and MIS Executive are the usual targets; from Tiruvannamalai the nearest employers are the temple town’s lodges and shops, Arani’s silk traders and Cheyyar’s suppliers. By the end of the course you will be able to connect Power BI Desktop to Excel, CSV, folder and database sources and clean and reshape data with Power Query: split, merge, append, pivot and unpivot.

Working through Power BI, you will learn to connect Power BI Desktop to Excel, CSV, folder and database sources, clean and reshape data with Power Query: split, merge, append, pivot and unpivot and build a data model with correct relationships, cardinality and filter flow.

You will work with Power BI Desktop, Power Query Editor and M Language; the Certificate in Power BI programme includes modules such as Getting Started & Power BI Desktop, Connecting & Shaping Data with Power BI Desktop and Table Relationships & Data Models.

Roles to aim for include Power BI Developer – builds data models, DAX measures and dashboards for business teams and Data Analyst – cleans data, finds trends and presents findings to managers. Comfort with a computer and basic Excel (entering data, simple formulas) is enough. No programming background is needed; DAX and M are taught from the basics.

Learners also join this course from Arani, Cheyyar, Polur, Vandavasi, Chengam, Kalasapakkam and Kilpennathur – most choose hybrid batches and come to Vellore only for labs, doubt clearing and project reviews.
