Code meets real hardware
Your child sees their program make lights blink, motors move and sensors respond.
Your child codes in Python and Arduino, wires real sensors and motors, and connects a personal assistant to hardware.
01What is AI Robotics for Kids
Robotics brings together three things: a body with motors, sensors that let it feel the world, and a program that decides what to do. In this 30-hour course your child first learns Python and builds a personal assistant program, then moves to Arduino, a small board used by students and engineers everywhere to control electronics. Finally they join the two, so their assistant can work with real sensors.
Hands-on robotics turns maths and science into something children can see and touch. Measuring distance with an ultrasonic sensor or making a motor turn at the right time teaches cause and effect, patience and careful testing. The course uses child-friendly libraries prepared by Livewire, so your child can focus on ideas instead of getting stuck on setup. It is a strong base for later STEM studies.
02Why learn it
Six reasons parents choose this course for their child.
Your child sees their program make lights blink, motors move and sensors respond.
They start with Python and then learn Arduino programming with Embedded C concepts.
The course covers ultrasonic distance sensing, vibration sensors, DC and stepper motors.
Children learn how obstacle-avoiding and follow-me robots work.
Physics, maths and logic come alive through small, working builds.
Low-voltage kits and a trainer in every session keep learning safe.
03Who can learn
For kids who enjoy blocks, kits and taking gadgets apart.
No coding background is needed; Python basics are taught first.
A great next step that adds electronics and hardware.
Learn skills to build a working model for school exhibitions.
An early feel for electronics, mechanics and programming together.
A focused 30-hour course with visible results.
04Levels & syllabus
1 programme on one page. Pick a level to see its modules and every topic covered.
For school children with no prior experience who want to code and build with real electronics.
05Your next step
This is a single 30-hour course. Children who enjoyed the coding part can go further with Coding for Kids (Python), and older students who want more hardware can later explore our Robotics or Internet of Things courses.
Start here. Core tools, workflow and a practice project.
Industry-style exercises, advanced features and a portfolio project.
Complete programmes that combine several tools and a capstone project.
06Hands-on
You learn by making real deliverables – reviewed by your trainer before certification.
A Python assistant that responds to typed questions and simple commands.
LEDs controlled by Arduino to blink in patterns your child designs.
An ultrasonic sensor setup that measures how far an object is and shows the reading.
A DC or stepper motor that starts, stops or turns based on a sensor or button.
The final build, where the personal assistant talks to Arduino and uses real sensor data.
