Construction and housing developers
BIM, structural analysis and scheduling.
Egypt’s construction boom, Suez Canal zone, oil and gas sector and growing IT-outsourcing scene hire design and technical staff. India is two and a half to three and a half hours ahead of Cairo.
01Egypt
The new administrative capital and large housing and infrastructure programmes keep construction firms busy, the Suez Canal economic zone attracts industrial investment, and oil and gas operations employ many technical contractors. Cairo’s IT-outsourcing firms add software and support roles.
Egypt uses daylight saving time, so India is three and a half hours ahead in winter and two and a half hours ahead in summer; a counsellor confirms the exact batch time each season.
BIM, structural analysis and scheduling.
Piping and electrical roles for gas and process contractors.
Testing and support roles.

07Study plan
At around seven hours a week, alongside college or work. Faster or slower is fine; finish each project before moving on.

05Careers
A BIM modeller builds a detailed digital model of a building, with walls, floors, structure and services all carrying real information such as sizes, materials and quantities.
Day to day: track issues and share models with teams through BIM 360; combine discipline models and run clash detection in Navisworks.
Skills employers ask for: Revit families, templates and parameters; Revit Architecture and Structure modelling; Navisworks clash detection and 4D simulation.
Where careers start: BIM Modeller.
A quantity surveyor measures the materials and work in a construction project and turns them into costs, bills of quantities, contractor bills and cost reports.
Day to day: prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates; check and certify contractor running bills.
Skills employers ask for: Advanced Excel for costing; Negotiation and documentation; Measurement and quantity take-off methods.
Where careers start: Junior QS / Billing Engineer.
A structural design engineer makes sure buildings, bridges, towers and industrial structures stand safely under their own weight, people, wind and earthquakes.
Day to day: prepare structural drawings and reinforcement details; study architectural drawings and plan the structural system.
Skills employers ask for: Revit Structure detailing; Load calculations as per IS 875 and IS 1893; ETABS modelling for multi-storey buildings.
Where careers start: Graduate / Trainee Engineer.

Ask on WhatsAppETABS, Revit and Primavera are the usual combination for design and planning roles.
The counsellor reconfirms your batch time when Egypt changes its clocks.
The new administrative capital and large housing and infrastructure programmes keep construction firms busy, the Suez Canal economic zone attracts industrial in A sensible order is ETABS first, then Revit (Architecture, Structure & MEP) once you are comfortable.
Yes. Classroom, online and hybrid modes are available depending on trainer availability at your chosen centre.
Both are used in India. ETABS is focused on buildings, while STAAD.Pro handles a wider range of structures. Many engineers learn both; the counsellor can suggest a combination based on your goal.
Yes. CareerKraft runs live, trainer-led online and hybrid batches with the same syllabus, projects and certificate as classroom batches, so learners in Egypt do not have to relocate.
