Creo Course in Vellore, Katpadi & Ranipet

Learn Creo Parametric to model parts, build assemblies, design sheet metal and produce production-ready drawings the way product teams do.

2 levels40–80 h195 topics3 centresClassroom · Online · Hybrid

01What is Creo

What is Creo? In plain words.

Creo Parametric is 3D CAD software from PTC, the company behind the earlier Pro/ENGINEER. It builds parts from sketches and features that are driven by dimensions, so changing one value updates the part, the assembly and the drawing together. Designers use it to model machined and plastic parts, sheet metal, surfaced shapes and large assemblies, and then to create detailed 2D drawings and bills of materials for manufacturing.

Creo is widely used in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, electronics enclosures and consumer products. Many of these companies and their engineering service partners keep product data in Creo and Windchill, so they look for designers who already understand its feature tree, relations, family tables and assembly tools. Knowing Creo well lets a fresher start contributing to real design changes quickly.

Vellore, Katpadi and Ranipet sit on the Chennai–Bengaluru corridor, where many vehicle, component and machinery plants and engineering service companies work in 3D CAD. Learning Creo close to home helps mechanical students from the region's colleges apply for design roles in Chennai, Sriperumbudur, Hosur and Bengaluru.

Ask on WhatsApp
What is Creo?

Creo Parametric is 3D CAD software from PTC. It is used to design parts, assemblies, sheet metal and surfaced shapes and to create manufacturing drawings. Changes to dimensions flow through the part, assembly and drawing automatically.

Who can learn Creo?

Mechanical, Automobile, Production and related engineering students, diploma and ITI holders, and working draughtsmen or designers can join. Basic computer knowledge is enough to start. Engineering drawing knowledge helps a lot.

How long is the Creo course?

Essential in Creo is 40 hours and Proficient in Creo is 80 hours. Each topic has theory and practice sessions. The counsellor can share batch timings that suit you.

Should I choose Essential or Proficient?

Pick Essential if you are new to Creo and want the core skills for parts, assemblies, sheet metal and drawings. Pick Proficient if you want job-level depth, including advanced sweeps, curves, reference management, skeletons and large-assembly tools.

Can I learn Creo online or in hybrid mode?

Yes. Classroom, online and hybrid modes are available, depending on trainer availability for your batch. Check with the centre when you enquire.

Is there a free demo class?

Message or call your chosen centre to ask about a demo or counselling session. You can see the software and discuss the syllabus before you decide.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. After completing the course and assessment, you receive a certificate from CADD Centre, our training partner, for the programme you completed.

Do you offer placement support?

Yes, we provide placement support such as resume help, mock interviews and job leads. We do not promise a job; your skills and project work decide the outcome.

What is the fee?

The fee depends on the level and current offers. The counsellor at your chosen centre will share the current fee, offers and EMI options on WhatsApp.

Do I need a laptop?

Not for classroom batches, as the centre provides systems. For online classes or home practice you will need a Windows laptop that can run Creo; ask the counsellor for the recommended specification.

What jobs can I get after learning Creo, and what is the salary?

Roles include CAD design engineer, product design engineer, detailer and sheet metal designer. Freshers usually start around ₹2.2–4 LPA, with higher pay in metros and with experience. These are indicative ranges only.

Where and when are classes held?

Creo training runs at all three centres – Katpadi, Vellore and Ranipet. Timings are Monday to Saturday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
