What the MEAN Stack internship builds on
Both use MongoDB for the database, Express.js and Node.js for the server, and differ on the front end – React in MERN and Angular in MEAN. Because one language, JavaScript, runs across the whole application, small teams can build and ship products quickly.
Working through Full Stack Development (MERN & MEAN), you will learn to create REST APIs and server logic with Node.js and Express, including middleware and error handling, build single-page front ends with React components, state and hooks, or with Angular modules, routing and forms and connect front end, API and database into a working full stack application.
You will work with JSON, MongoDB and Express.js; the Course on Full Stack Development - MERN programme includes modules such as Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery and JSON, MongoDB and Express.js.
Roles to aim for include MEAN Stack Developer – develops apps with MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node.js and React Developer – builds user interfaces and single-page applications in React. Basic computer and internet use is enough to start, as HTML, CSS and JavaScript are taught from the beginning. Logical thinking and regular practice matter more than prior coding.

Yes – you receive an internship completion certificate after completing the programme and the project review.
Is it a paid internship?
It is a fee-based internship course you can take while still studying, with a mini-project and certificate. It is not a job and does not include a stipend. Graduates who have completed their degree can apply for a stipend-based internship with CareerKraft on our Work with us page.
How long are the full stack programmes?
Both the MERN and MEAN programmes are 120 hours each. They include real-time projects after each major section and a final full stack project.
Should I choose MERN or MEAN?
Choose MERN if you want to work with React, which many startups and product companies use. Choose MEAN if you like Angular's structured approach, common in larger enterprise teams. The counsellor can talk through your goals.
