What does a Full Stack Developer do?
A full stack developer builds both the parts of a web application users see and the parts that run behind the scenes. On the front end they create responsive pages with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular. On the back end they build APIs with Node.js, Django or Java, design databases, handle login and security, and deploy the app so real users can reach it.
Because one person can take a feature from idea to production, full stack skills are popular with start-ups, product companies and IT service firms in Chennai and Bengaluru, and with remote employers. Popular stacks include MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) and MEAN (with Angular), plus Python Django and Java. Graduates from any stream can enter with steady practice, Git habits and two or three deployed projects.
A typical day
