Internet of Things (IoT) Internship in Vellore, Katpadi & Ranipet

The Internet of Things (IoT) is about connecting everyday devices – sensors, lights, motors, meters – to the internet so they can send data and be controlled remotely. A typical IoT system has a sensor node such as an Arduino or NodeMCU, a network link over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, a gateway such as a Raspberry Pi, a cloud platform that stores the data, and a phone or web app that shows it.

Working through Internet of Things (IoT), you will learn to explain IoT architecture from sensor to cloud to app, program an Arduino MEGA and interface LEDs and sensors on a breadboard and use UART and USB serial communication with Arduino.

You will work with Arduino MEGA and Arduino IDE, NodeMCU and ESP8266 Wi-Fi modules and HC-05 Bluetooth module; the Course on Internet of Things (IoT) programme includes modules such as IoT Foundations, Arduino Programming and Serial Communication and Sensors.

Roles to aim for include IoT Developer – builds connected devices and the software that links them to the cloud and Embedded Firmware Trainee – programs microcontrollers and interfaces sensors and modules. A basic understanding of electronic circuits and microcontrollers, and of the internet, cloud and networking, is helpful. The course starts with a short electronics refresher.
