What the Web Designing internship builds on
Web design is the craft of planning and building the pages people see in a browser. It uses HTML5 to structure content, CSS3 to control colours, spacing and layout, and JavaScript with jQuery to add movement and interaction.
Working through Web Design, you will learn to structure web pages with HTML5 elements, semantic tags, lists, tables, links, images and forms, style pages with CSS3 colours, backgrounds, fonts, margins, padding, shadows and borders and control page layout using CSS display, position and float.
You will work with HTML5 and semantic elements, CSS3 styling and box model and CSS display, position and float layouts; the Course on Web Designing programme includes modules such as HTML5 Fundamentals, HTML Links, Media, Lists, Forms and Tables and CSS3 Basics.
Roles to aim for include Web Designer – designs and builds website pages using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap and Junior Front-End Developer – turns designs into working, responsive pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Basic computer use and typing are enough. No earlier coding is needed; the course starts from the first HTML tag.
