Aerospace manufacturers and suppliers
CATIA, GD&T and analysis roles.
France’s aerospace hub in Toulouse, its automotive plants and construction sector hire engineers and designers. India runs three and a half to four and a half hours ahead of Paris.
01France
Toulouse’s aerospace cluster and its suppliers, automotive plants in the north and east and a steady building-renovation market give France demand for designers, analysts and planners.
France shares Central European time, so an Indian late-afternoon class falls around lunchtime locally.
A designer heading to a French aerospace supplier could start with CATIA and GD&T, add ANSYS once modelling is comfortable, and treat Revit and Primavera as a second track for construction work.

07Study plan
At around seven hours a week, alongside college or work. Faster or slower is fine; finish each project before moving on.

05Careers
A CNC / CAM programmer converts a 3D model into toolpaths and G-code that a CNC lathe, milling machine or machining centre can follow.
Day to day: select tools, holders, speeds, feeds and depths of cut; create 2D and 3D milling and turning toolpaths in Mastercam or NX CAM.
Skills employers ask for: G-code and M-code basics; Fixturing and work-holding methods; Cutting tools, materials and machining parameters.
Where careers start: CNC Operator / Trainee.
An automotive design engineer designs the parts that make up a vehicle, such as body-in-white panels, plastic interior trims, brackets, seating structures or chassis components.
Day to day: prepare 2D drawings with GD&T for supplier release; work with class-A surfaces from styling to build engineering parts.
Skills employers ask for: Plastic part design rules; CATIA Part Design, Generative Shape Design and Assembly; Vehicle systems knowledge (body, interior, chassis).
Where careers start: Design Trainee.
A CFD engineer uses computational fluid dynamics to predict how air, water, oil or gas flows through and around products.
Day to day: post-process velocity, pressure and temperature contours, streamlines and forces; present findings and design suggestions to product and test teams.
Skills employers ask for: Convergence checks and mesh-independence studies; Turbulence models such as k-epsilon and k-omega SST; Fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals.
Where careers start: CFD Trainee.

Ask on WhatsAppYes. It is widely used in aerospace and automotive supply chains.
Courses are taught in English; French-language study is separate.
Toulouse’s aerospace cluster and its suppliers, automotive plants in the north and east and a steady building-renovation market give France demand for designers, analysts and planners. A sensible order is CATIA first, then GD&T once you are comfortable.
Essential in GD&T is 16 hours, with a theory session and a practice session for each topic.
Yes. Classroom, online and hybrid modes are offered, depending on trainer availability. The centre will confirm which modes are open for the next batch.
Yes. CareerKraft runs live, trainer-led online and hybrid batches with the same syllabus, projects and certificate as classroom batches, so learners in France do not have to relocate.
