Construction contractors
BIM, structural analysis and scheduling.
Turkey’s construction contractors, automotive plants and textile exporters hire engineers and planners. India is two and a half hours ahead of Istanbul.
01Turkey
Turkish contractors build across Europe, Asia and Africa and need designers and planners, automotive plants supply European brands, and Istanbul’s textile exporters keep costing and merchandising staff busy.
Turkey keeps one time zone all year, two and a half hours behind India, so Indian evening classes land in the late afternoon.

07Study plan
At around seven hours a week, alongside college or work. Faster or slower is fine; finish each project before moving on.
04Your learning path
You will learn to
Project to build: Shear-wall building. Add shear walls to a multi-storey model, run the analysis and check the wall design results.
Tools covered: Load patterns, cases and combinations, Concrete frame design, Frame, slab, deck and wall sections, Flat and waffle slab modelling, Steel frame, connection and joist design.
Professional level: Engineers heading into structural design offices who want 80 hours including slab systems, seismic and non-linear analysis.
You will learn to
Project to build: G+2 residential building. Model walls, floors, roofs, stairs and curtain walls, then produce plans, sections, schedules and sheets.
Tools covered: Structural analytical model and rebar, Worksharing, links and Copy/Monitor, Family Editor and adaptive components, Massing and conceptual energy analysis, Revit Structure.
Foundation level: Civil engineering students and structural draughtsmen who want a 40-hour course on modelling and documenting structures in Revit.
You will learn to
Project to build: Earned value report. Calculate and report earned value fields for a project and explain whether it is on budget.
Tools covered: Primavera P6 Professional (client), User, EPS and OBS administration, Baselines and progress updates, Reports and import/export to Excel, Earned Value Analysis.
Professional level: Those aiming for planning or PMO roles who want the full 104-hour programme: PPM concepts, P6 client, P6 Web and administration.
You will learn to
Project to build: Connecting rod or crankshaft part. Model a part with pads, pockets, shafts, fillets and patterns, fully driven by constraints.
Tools covered: Wireframe and Surface Design, Drafting, Generative Sheetmetal Design, Sketcher workbench, Constraint and dress-up feature tools.
Foundation level: Beginners and engineering students who want a structured 40-hour start in CATIA V5 – sketcher, part design, assembly, sheet metal, surfaces and drafting, with practice in every session.
05Careers
A structural design engineer makes sure buildings, bridges, towers and industrial structures stand safely under their own weight, people, wind and earthquakes.
Day to day: analyse results and design beams, columns, slabs and footings; model buildings and structures in ETABS or STAAD.Pro.
Skills employers ask for: Structural analysis and mechanics fundamentals; RCC and steel design as per IS 456 and IS 800; Load calculations as per IS 875 and IS 1893.
Where careers start: Graduate / Trainee Engineer.
An automotive design engineer designs the parts that make up a vehicle, such as body-in-white panels, plastic interior trims, brackets, seating structures or chassis components.
Day to day: work with class-A surfaces from styling to build engineering parts; join design reviews with suppliers, CAE and manufacturing teams.
Skills employers ask for: Vehicle systems knowledge (body, interior, chassis); CATIA Part Design, Generative Shape Design and Assembly; GD&T and automotive drawing standards.
Where careers start: Design Trainee.
A quantity surveyor measures the materials and work in a construction project and turns them into costs, bills of quantities, contractor bills and cost reports.
Day to day: prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates; link model elements with cost data for 5D analysis.
Skills employers ask for: Navisworks quantification and 5D workflows; Revit model reading and schedules; Bill of quantities preparation.
Where careers start: Junior QS / Billing Engineer.

Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppETABS, Revit and Primavera cover analysis, modelling and planning.
No. Turkey stays on one time all year.
Turkish contractors build across Europe, Asia and Africa and need designers and planners, automotive plants supply European brands, and Istanbul’s textile expor A sensible order is ETABS first, then Revit (Architecture, Structure & MEP) once you are comfortable.
Essential in ETABS is 40 hours and Proficient in ETABS is 80 hours. Most sessions are 2 hours, with theory followed by practice. Batch timings are shared by the counsellor.
Yes. Essential in CATIA (40 hours) builds the foundation; Proficient in CATIA (80 hours) is the complete, job-ready programme. Your counsellor helps you choose based on your background.
You can. Every course is available as a live online class, and learners in Turkey who want lab time can add an occasional visit to one of the centres in Tamil Nadu.
