A clear next step for you

Mechanical and automobile graduates are many, and design roles ask for proof of software skill. Recruiters want to see parametric models, clean assemblies, production drawings with proper tolerances, and simple FEA or CFD results. A degree alone rarely shows this. A focused CAD or CAE course, with a project you can explain, often makes the difference in design interviews and tests.

CareerKraft is the CADD Centre training partner in Katpadi, Vellore and Ranipet, so you can learn SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, Ansys and more close to home. Pick a tool based on the industry you want – automotive, heavy engineering, consumer products or manufacturing – and build skills level by level. Batches suit final-year students and working engineers alike, with weekend and online options.

Too many mechanical graduates, few core jobs

Specialised CAD or CAE skill with a solid project sets you apart in a crowded field and opens design, simulation and manufacturing roles.

Which CAD software should I learn?

SolidWorks suits product and machine design, CATIA and NX are common in automotive and aerospace, and Creo in heavy engineering. We help you pick based on your target sector.

I am in a non-core or IT job and want to return

Weekend and online batches let you rebuild core design skills without leaving your current job.

EVs and automation are changing the industry

EV design, automotive DMU and AI-powered product design courses help you keep pace with where the industry is heading.

04FAQ

Questions from be/btech mechanical & automobile

Still have a question? The counsellor at the centre you prefer replies on WhatsApp.

Ask on WhatsApp
Should I learn SolidWorks or CATIA?

Both are strong. SolidWorks is easier to start with and common in machine and product design. CATIA is used heavily in automotive and aerospace. If unsure, start with SolidWorks and add CATIA later.

Do I need AutoCAD before SolidWorks?

It is not required, but AutoCAD helps you understand drawing standards and views. Many students take AutoCAD first and then move to 3D tools.

Is Ansys useful for freshers?

Yes, if you already know CAD basics. Simulation roles are fewer than CAD roles, but engineers who can model and analyse are valued in design teams.

Can working engineers attend?

Yes. Weekend, evening, Online and Hybrid batches are available depending on trainer availability. All three centres are open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Sunday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

What is the fee?

Fees depend on the course and level. The counsellor at your chosen centre (Katpadi, Vellore or Ranipet) will share the current fee, any offers and EMI options on WhatsApp.

Do you guarantee a job?

No. We give placement support – resume help, mock interviews and job leads – and help you build projects that show your skills. Results depend on your effort and the job market.
